Alpha Omicron Pi encourages all members to excel academically and achieve their academic goals. Through academic development programs and resources, expectations are high, but success is attainable. The emphasis on these pursuits was instilled by the four founding members of Alpha Omicron Pi and this commitment remains strong today.
Upon colonizing at Kennesaw State University, Alpha Omicron Pi led all sororities with the highest chapter GPA on campus. We strive to maintain a high academic standing every semester. Our vice president of academics, Casey Tatum, is in charge of implementing fun and encouraging activities for academics. For example, she rewards one sister weekly who makes an A and submits it to our “A-jar”. Each semester we also hold a Pi Luncheon where sisters who achieved a GPA of 3.14 or higher are invited to come enjoy a free lunch among other rewards.
